Andrea D. Distefano is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cosmetic Dermatology, including injectables and laser procedures. She grew up in Delaware and attended the University of Delaware where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in both Psychology and Nursing. After working in the Operating Room for over ten years, she decided to advance her education and obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Mrs. DiStefano is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed by the Florida Board of Nursing. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Dermatology Nurses Association, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Mrs. DiStefano is proficient in injectables and laser procedures allowing her to accommodate the individual needs of her patients through a variety of non-surgical, aesthetic treatments. By working closely with her patients, they decide on a strategy which meets their cosmetic goals and a skin-care regimen tailored to their specific requirements. Through continuous education, she stays abreast of the latest and greatest technologies available.

Mrs. DiStefano loves living in Jacksonville Beach with her husband and dog, and believes that with enough broad-spectrum sunscreen and protective clothing, going to the beach is relaxing and cathartic.
